Writing a book about Leicester Fixers and Repair

Writing a book for a general audience came into my awareness for few weeks now with friends suggesting to turn my doctorate into a book. Then, I was invited to celebrate a girlfriend birthday in Nottingham. Unable to drive to the destination, I was picked up by a newly published author. We spoke all the way there and back about the process of writing a book and some of steps involved in delivering the written product. In the evening. I discussed some of the elements with another friend who told me that she will help me find the necessary funding to make this happen. My first book is about Leicester Fixers, Repair, the Doctorate and more. I want to be able to raise some funding to continue and expand the development of sustainable communities within Leicester,  Leicestershire and Rutland. Through the book, I want to be able to raise necessary funds to do this. Fingercrossed, this will be possible.

If you would like to support me with this project, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Reading group starting in June: Modernising Money

The Leicester's Positive Money group is starting a reading group. Our first session will be the 6th of June 2014 at the Green Oasis from 6pm. We will start with reading the first 100 pages of ' Modernising Money ' by Andrew Jackson & Ben Dyson. We are at the moment seven individuals eager to understand better economics and to discuss some of the arguments introduced in the book. If you are interested in joining the reading group, email me directly on moneyleicester@gmail.com . If you don't have a book, I have 3 books left for sale sent by Positive Money to support the Leicester group (£10). Don't hesitate!

Seeing the truth

Today we saw the truth, yet we could not stop ourselves to live in a lie. * * * We shouted, cried, yelled, when we knew deep inside exactly what memories were triggered. We were blinded by anger. We broke the bond we had. The law of cause and effect is in motion. * * * Next time, we will follow our intuition and live truth closer to the surface.  It all begins now

Godsent

She had tried for a year or two to make the hedging bush to recover and live again. She had worked so hard for it to get better. Before she knew it, a man fell onto it and broke all the branches. She stomped, she roared, she got very upset. What is the message she received? She will probably never know until she let it finally all go. Her attachment to the bush is to made her perished. Until, she wakes up and breathe in the storm of opportunities...
