Home Energy - Footpaths Challenge - Checking for Draughts

With my beautiful little hand, I went all around the house checking if there were any drafts. I found one.
Under my front door. I now understand why the corridor is always very cold. So what options do I have to fix this little issue from the least expensive to more expensive options
- Do Nothing
- Make with reclaimed material sa door draught excluder (see pic)
- Change the door sweeps
- Change the front door
Easy busy!

I have to choose one of those options. I might start with the door draught excluder!

SUCCESS is A TEAM EFFORT

Reading Anna Wintour harsh advice for fashion students resonated with me (click here for full article). I have been working with Sandrine Nyota for now two months. Interestingly, the young designer follow  unconsciously  to the letter Anna Wintour advices and I think they are worth following: STARTING YOUR OWN LINE DOESN’T GUARANTEE SUCCESS Ultimately, this apply to anyone who want to start their own business. Although I will say, success can only be determined by the individual in the driving seat as success for some is different for others. It remains supporting other successes by working for another designer or company can be extremely rewarding as we learn the importance of having a team around us to achieve greater high. Progress Trap

A  progress trap  is the condition human societies experience when, in pursuing  progress  through human ingenuity, they inadvertently introduce problems they do not have the resources or political will to solve, for fear of short-term losses in status, stability or quality of life. ( Wikipedia ) How willing are we to make the necessary changes for our future survival? Looking after ourselves, our health, others, their wellbeing, the planet, its sustainability. Yet, it is so easy to escalate commitment in telling ourselves and others stories which will enhance our status, stability and quality of life. The chase is on against time and oddities. We escape from the unsettling truth that the long term is doomed. Until we burn out - Exhausted from rat race, the running, the short-term goals. Breathe, Slow Down,  Have a nice weekend. And get back in the trap next week.
