Sharing is a social responsibility

It is a social responsibility to share. If we want this planet to be a better place, we need to share our gifts. Our gifts were given to us because they were to be shared not to be stored away. It is not about being humble, it is not about being arrogant, it is about being brave. If it is hard for you as it is hard for me, we have to let it go.. let go of the fear and embrace one's dream.

Minimalism & equality

Equality is a topic dear to my heart. The mental-ill of our society caused by the widening gap between rich and poor sickened me. Minimalism is a lifestyle I am passionate about. I want to believe that embracing it by letting go of the things that do not bring any value and focusing on what does, rich and poor can find a place for themselves... each one of us can build their own fish tank where their true self can shine through. i don't think gandhi jesus buddha, mohammed will disagree with me. Cycling Reaction

Human being out of social anxiety have the tendency to step on those below and bow to those above. In the Spirit Level by R.Wilkinson and K.Picket, this is described as a 'bicycling reaction'. In this context, we displace our own prejudice and anger on those who we regard as inferior to us. A terrible example is a man having difficulties at work with work colleagues or bosses and relieving his nerves on his wife when getting home. Another one, not as terrible, is feeling sensitive when encountering people from higher social classes than us and teasing those below for not having what we have. In the UK, a number of derogatory TV programmes exist portraying vulnerable individuals who are supported by our welfare system as scroungers and lazy individuals. I do accept that some profit of the system and why would not they when the world promote status through stuff and money. It remains that the proportion of those is very small in comparison to our middle class dwellers. St
