The Purge Continue - From Mariella Burani to Peep Eyewear

The first phase of Bazar Heureux is on the way.
It is the PURGE where I let go of things so I can give place to something NEW and this new thing is YOU.

For this first week, one item got sold on my eBay shop.
It was an unexpected item. My Mother in  Law used Mariella Burani Sunglasses Case.

The Mariella Burani brand does not exist anymore, so I figure that the buyer may be upcycling this item into something new or it may have value in some market I do not know exist. I am kind of looking forward to see what they may come up with. I put a note in the package letting them know that if they transform the item, I want to see what they come up with.
I have seen different ideas on Pinterest for upcycling items - Thebuyer may be inspired by some of those ideas. I know that I personally am. hehe Click on the image for more info

I do not have any sunglasses to put in this box, so I thought best to give it to someone else. In the future, I want some Peep eyewear - they upcycle vintage frame with new lenses. This is quite an idea isn't https://www.peepeyewear.co.uk/

Until then, the purge continues

Are we good friend?

A friend came to visit. She brought flowers and a card. Inside the card, she wrote that I was an amazing friend. To her, at least. How much more can you do while racing through life, its responsibilities and distractions? A good tool to use for reflection is the theory of attachment to understand yourself and how your type of attachement impact on the quality of relationships. Have a look and let me know what you think?

How can we resist the New Cramble in Africa? By Stopping the corporate takeover of african food

A landmark  G8  initiative ' The New Alliance for Food Security' to boost agriculture and relieve poverty has been damned as a new form of colonialism after African governments agreed to change seed, land and tax laws to favour private investors over small farmers. The alliance is being paid with hundred's of millions of pounds of our taxpayers'money to help the corporate like Unilever, Monsanto and Diageo to take over African land, seeds and agriculture. It is quite shocking to hear that this is the way the UK is spending Aid budget rather than supporting the African farmers who produce 70% of the countries food. Yesterday evening at the Christchurch on Clarendon Park Road in Leicester, I had the chance to assist to an event organised by the World Development Movement where I learnt more about this particular issue. Two speakers were present and below is a summary of the elements they cover. 1) Christine Haigh, Food Policy Officer from World Development...
